We are recycling, the consignor is making some money back, and the shopper is finding unique pieces at a fraction of the price.

For the past twenty years, Stella’s consignment shop has been a fixture in San Anselmo. A fun place to frequent that’s open and organized with an ever-changing inventory. Always looking for new items, designs, and local artists results in new merchandise put out daily.  Laura and her sister Anna owned and operated the shop seven days a week for thirteen years before they stretched and Anna opened her own place down the street: Seesaw! A kids consignment shop that was very much needed, and has become another neighborhood favorite.

“Stella, our grandmother’s name, was chosen because she made such a gentle, loving impression on her family. Immigrating here from Malta with a style and grace that resonates in our bones. She was courageous and kind and her love of clogs and roses and sweet things lives on.” - Laura

Amy Markham works alongside Laura and brings her own strengths and expertise, with an A.A. from FIDM and over 20 years of retail experience.

“ I love that consignment is such a fun way of shopping and recycling. I love that clothing is a way to express yourself. But most of all I love the customers and the atmosphere. Stella’s is so much more than a store, it feels like family, like an oasis, and I’m so happy and grateful to be a part of that.” - Amy
